Southeast Michigan Wedding Venues

Adams Manor in Oakland County

Quick Venue Facts:

  • Address: 3800 Adams Rd. Oakland Township, Michigan
  • Website: theadamsmanor.com
  • Capacity: 150 guests
  • Style: European Manor with indoor, old-money speakeasy
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: Host your rehearsal dinner at this venue on the patio- this space overlooks the entire property and can host an intimate rehearsal dinner with your closest friends & family!
  • Starting Cost: $10,000

I visited Adams Manor early in 2024 for a vendor open house, and it was actually still under some construction. The construction has long been completed now. I’m happy to report that this venue is more stunning than ever! Adams Manor is a wedding venue located in Oakland County, Michigan. This estate will be perfect for you if you want a venue with a flair for European Tudor architecture, a private speakeasy, and a lush green lawn for the perfect summer wedding. Nestled on 40 peaceful acres, your guests will start their experience driving up the long, wooded private driveway. As they get closer to the property, the estate sits on top of a hill overlooking the entire property. This venue can host up to 150 guests.

A few of my favorite details about this venue are the getting ready suites and newly renovated speakeasy area. The natural light throughout the getting ready suites is perfect for your hair and makeup teams. With mirrors all around the space as well, this space could easily accommodate a larger wedding party. While this venue can accommodate larger guest counts, it also shines if you have a more intimate gathering planned. The terrace is a perfect space to host a small group of guests, and could even be the perfect spot for a rehearsal dinner! This venue is incredibly rich in history and will leave your guests in awe. It’s a venue your guests (and you) will remember for years to come.

Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester

Quick Venue Facts:

  • Address: 350 Estate Dr, Rochester, MI 48309
  • Website: meadowbrookhall.org
  • Capacity: up to 300 guests
  • Style: Moody Historic Manor; Garden Tent outside
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: Make sure to utilize inside the Manor for your wedding portraits- the art inside provides a wonderful backdrop!
  • Starting Cost: $43,000

Meadowbrook Hall is such a dreamy, moody wedding venue. I had the opportunity to experience what Meadowbrook has to offer in the fall season. Meadowbrook hosts such a wonderful evening and the building is rich with history. Your guests will love the opportunity to learn more about local history while appreciating the Tudor style architecture, all while celebrating you. Your wedding celebration will actually take place in the tent behind the manor in the gardens. It’s a stunning tent and in the summer it’s surrounded with lush florals! Catering and bartending is included at this venue, and the food is incredibly delicious!

As a disclaimer, Meadowbrook does have rules when it comes to hosting your event there due to its status as a historical site and the art on property. Every venue has rules and restrictions, but I do find that Meadowbrook has a few extra just because of its historical site status. Having worked at this venue before, I know how to work with the rules. Feel free to connect with me if you have questions! We (Meadowbrook Hall and I) were recently featured in Lens & Luxe Magazine with some of the below images for their Fall issue! St Clair Inn in St Clair Michigan

Quick Venue Facts:

  • Address: 500 N Riverside Ave, St Clair, MI 48079
  • Website: stclairinn.com
  • Capacity: up to 250 guests
  • Style: upscale ballroom with neutral nautical tie ins
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: Make sure to book the cottages for your getting ready space! With multiple bedrooms in each, this wedding day can be a wedding weekend with your closest people and has lots of space for large wedding parties!
  • Starting Cost: $20,000

The St Clair Inn is a historic inn right in the heart of downtown St. Clair, Michigan. Overlooking the St. Clair River and Canada, this inn is expansive enough to host large weddings in the ballroom and more intimate gatherings in the restaurant. This ballroom has stunning natural light, a wall of completely floor to ceiling windows facing towards the river, and the most interesting nautical (but perfectly neutral) details throughout the space. The St Clair Inn is a venue that can host both ceremonies and receptions.

One of my favorite parts of working at this venue is the catering and bartending staff. The St. Clair Inn has their own catering and bar staff, so this is truly an all-inclusive space to host your wedding. The food was amazing, I overheard the guests raving about it! Westers Family Vineyard in Rives Junction

Quick Venue Facts:

  • Address: 10473 Churchill Rd. Rives Junction, MI 49277
  • Website: westersfamilyvineyard.com
  • Capacity: up to 190 guests
  • Style: whimsical outdoor venue, black barn with touches of rustic throughout the barn
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: print your engagement photos to display throughout the venue in their frames!
  • Starting Cost: $13,000

I worked at Westers Family Vineyard back in June 2024 and it was stunning. Westers has everything- a romantic willow tree, a timeless black barn, and a lush vineyard. My couple, Abby and Rob, chose to hold their ceremony on the grand lawn overlooking the pond and willow tree. The indoor barn space is the perfect blend of rustic and timeless- especially depending on how you choose to decorate the space. Sometimes barn venues can be very rustic or industrial, but Westers has done a phenomenal job of ensuring the space has that timeless, romantic aesthetic. My favorite element of the space is how customizable they made it. Abby had printed out large-scale prints of their engagement photos to be used throughout the space as well as included them on a large crossword puzzle their guests could solve. Abby also incorporated her love of her students by having them make some decor for the venue as well! It was a sweet, sentimental touch that is something I haven’t seen before.

A unique element that Westers Family Vineyard includes in their venue rentals is a full planning and coordination team. Not every venue does this, and Westers does this incredibly well. To learn more about Westers and see more from the pictured wedding day below, read this blog post I wrote! If you have any questions about photography at this venue, I’m happy to answer anything!

Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center in Howell

Quick Venue Details:

  • Address: 2975 N Old US 23, Howell, MI 48855
  • Website: waldenwoodsevents.com
  • Capacity: 300 guests
  • Style: natural, tented outdoor reception
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: rent out the lodges for your guests to enjoy events throughout the weekend!
  • Starting Cost: $8,200

Waldenwoods Resort is home to lodges, lakes, and woods. This would be a camp-themed wedding dream for your guests! Waldenwoods is an all-inclusive venue towards the Mid-Michigan area. With catering and bartending included, you don’t have to worry about searching elsewhere for vendors to come in and set up. The food at this venue was very good, and the staff was incredibly on top of clearing tables quickly. This wedding venue will host multiple weddings a day, but from my experience I wouldn’t have known that if I wasn’t told. Each space is incredibly quiet, so we didn’t hear any other wedding celebrations on property.

Waldenwoods offers 3 different on-site locations to host your wedding day. Each space is similar and depends on the amount of guests you are hosting. With the ability to rent out the lodges on property, you can really host a wedding weekend! I’ve both worked and attended as a guest at this venue, and staying on property the whole weekend was truly amazing. As a guest, we got to hang out with our college friends all weekend having bonfires and just relaxing. We aren’t often all together now that we’re out of college, so being together for a whole weekend while celebrating friends was perfect.

Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek

Quick Venue Details:

  • Address: 6174 Halbert Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49017
  • Website: greencrestmanor.com
  • Capacity: 200 guests
  • Style: Timeless European garden vibes
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: To really complete your Greencrest Manor experience, stay on-site for your wedding weekend inside the manor!
  • Starting Cost: $48,000

Greencrest Manor is the European estates of your dreams. I’ve been to several events at Greencrest Manor and each one is more wonderful than the last. The heart of Greencrest Manor truly lays in the client and guest experience. The venue team has made it their mission to love on each person that walks through the door, and it truly shows. A Greencrest Manor experience is unlike any other venue I’ve experienced. This venue features lush green gardens, a private tree lined driveway, and an ivy covered estate. Architecturally this is a European manor that can host your wedding party overnight. There are many spots at this venue that could be utilized for ceremonies, but my favorite spot for receptions is the tent out front.

The team at Greencrest Manor really makes each event unique by focusing on you. Signature cocktails are crafted especially for you by the bartending team. Florals are sourced directly from the gardens on site. A planning team is there for you to handle all the day of details. With all of this at this venue, this is an exceptional venue to be married at!

The Millhaven in Marshall

Quick Venue Details:

  • Address: 311 W Spruce St, Marshall, MI 49068
  • Website: themillhaven.com
  • Capacity: up to 250 guests
  • Style: eclectic industrial
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: If you want the best of both worlds, host your wedding at this venue in the winter and you can book weekend accommodations for your wedding party at Greencrest Manor!
  • Starting Cost: $3,000

The sister venue to Greencrest Manor, the Millhaven is actually a former pickle factory in downtown Marshall. This property is owned by the same team as Greencrest Manor and in the winter offers packages for use of both venues. The opportunity to use both locations is certainly unique as no other wedding venue offers this!

The Millhaven offers their industrial space and outdoor garden ceremony space for up to 250 guests. The property also holds a mini greenhouse venue that can host celebrations as well. That space can hold up to 50 guests. I absolutely adore the vibes of this wedding venue. Eclectic in nature, it’s a beautiful space for couples to host their wedding day. If you’re thinking of celebrating your wedding day at this venue, I’d love to work together!

  • Website: venue3two.com
  • Capacity: 200 guests; can host intimate weddings with 40 guests & under
  • Style: Vintage Manor Estate
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: The best catering team I’ve worked alongside at this venue was Gandia’s Catering.
  • Starting Cost: $5,000

Venue3Two is a breathtaking beauty. Located on Michigan’s west side, this historic wedding venue brings an elegant old money vibe to this list. Venue3Two can host up to 200 of your guests in the newly renovated conservatory. If you have a more intimate guest list, the manor can fit up to 40 guests. The conservatory is very spacious and filled with natural light. From the windows you can see the backyard patio, which would be the perfect spot for an outdoor cocktail hour or an intimate dinner. Baker Events in Holland

Quick Venue Details:

  • Address: 217 East 24th Street Holland, MI 49423
  • Website: bakereventsholland.com
  • Capacity: 300 guests
  • Style: Industrial
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip: This is the only venue I’ve been to that allows you to take your catering leftovers to go- bring your own containers with lids!
  • Starting Cost: $3,600

Baker Events has two spaces within their building: the Loft and the Warehouse. I’ve specifically worked in the Loft upstairs, but the Warehouse is equally as nice! Baker Events is a former furniture factory turned wedding venue. They have getting ready suites on site for couples as well as indoor ceremony spaces. Baker Events partners with Gilmore Catering to provide food and bartending services to their couples. We had signature drinks and a couple secret drinks at the wedding I worked here. It was so fun to watch guests learn about the secret menu throughout the night!

I really enjoyed my time working at Baker Events, and I’m looking forward to working there again this year! With this industrial space, couples really have the ability to decorate it as they please. My couple in 2025 used pastel florals throughout the space, and I really fell in love with it! You can read more about Baker Events in this blog post! I absolutely love working at Baker and would love to work with you here!

Warehouse 6 in Holland

Quick Venue Details:

  • Address: 136 East 6th St., Holland, MI 49423
  • Website: warehouse6events.com
  • Capacity: 170 guests
  • Style: Industrial
  • Catie’s Pro-Tip:
  • Starting Cost: unknown

Warehouse6 is located right in the heart of downtown Holland. Within walking distance of local hotels, this Michigan wedding venue offers outdoor activities for your guests during reception time. Guests are able to enjoy cornhole and a dessert trailer out on the patio. My couple pictured below used the trailer to serve ice cream to their guests! It was such a fun touch to this wedding day, and the guests loved an ice cream sundae in lieu of cake. This wedding venue space can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions, but my couple just used this as a reception space. This venue is not all-inclusive and you will be responsible for bringing in vendors for catering and bartending- however, Gilmore Catering is a preferred vendor for this space! Gilmore is often used at Baker Events (mentioned above).

Venues I’m Looking Forward to Working at in 2026

Looking forward to 2026, I’m excited to work at some new venues and old favorites! I’ll obviously be writing about these more once I work there later in the year, but here’s a couple venues I’m looking forward to working at this year: Baker Events in Holland (again!), The Treasury in Pontiac, Stonegate Farms in Lapeer, The Peninsula Room in Traverse City, and more. I will definitely be adding more to this list as time goes on! I’m now starting to travel out of state for weddings, and I anticipate that to continue for 2026 and 2027!

I would love to work with you for your wedding or elopement! Please contact me to reserve your date!
