The root of my photography lies in connection and the sentimental memories we make through life. You know the ones- the memories we share over a family dinner or over shared drinks around a bonfire or even while flipping through photo albums. I work with couples who want a wedding photography experience that focuses on the real, emotion-filled, candid moments throughout their day.
From intentional planning assistance to those instantly printed memories on your wedding day, I'll guide you through every step to preserve your most treasured memories authentically.
I'm Catie
I only work with 20 couples a year to make this experience one that's rooted in intention. With limiting the work I take on, my couples have my undivided attention and time. I offer an ear to listen and provide efficient communication & assistance throughout all the stages of planning. Oftentimes, I stay friends with my couples and we keep in touch!
As a fellow empath I’m drawn to emotions and the story they tell in images. Moments throughout the day such as first looks, private vows, or simply a hug from your grandmother are all special and emotional. A majority of the couples I work with have never been in front of a camera before, let alone have emotions in front of one. I provide a safe space for my couples to experience all the feelings and stay rooted in the moment, all without a camera directly in your face.
While most of my work is candid, during our portrait time you never have to worry about how to pose or what to do with your hands. I gently guide couples with natural movement and conversation. This allows you to be yourselves and get portraits that are uniquely you.
As I head into my 4th year of wedding photography, I've documented 70+ weddings. With years of experience behind me, you'll relax on your wedding day and know you're working with someone as deeply invested in your day as you are.

Professional Idea Bouncer & Logistics Planner: Have an idea for your ceremony or reception but aren't sure how to execute it? Or have an idea but you're nervous about it? I'm all ears. Lots of couples I work with have unique elements to their day but aren't 100% sure how to fit it in. I can help you figure out the logistics!
Permit Fees: Several engagement session spots (and some wedding venues) require permits to photograph on site. I'm an expert permit-filer and include permit fees up to $300 in my service costs.
Wedding Planning Resources: My couples get access to all of my planning resources. Crafted intentionally for you, I offer exclusive guides and assistance through your engagement session, wedding day, and even changing your name or submitting your marriage license.
Film for a Touch of Nostalgia: There's something so unique about film. The grain, the vintage feel, the authenticity of the moment without an edit. I include film photography in each package for you to have even more nostalgic moments to look back on.
Quick Gallery Turn Around: There's nothing worse than the anticipation of waiting. I make my couples a priority by delivering their full wedding gallery within 30 days of their wedding day- quicker and more intentional than the photography industry standard of 8-10 weeks.
Polaroid Delivery Same Day: Throughout your wedding day, I use my mini-polaroid camera to capture moments you'll leave your wedding with. Yep. Same day. You'll have a little album to take home and flip through the very next morning together. Hang some on your fridge or keep a few on your desk while you wait on your gallery!
