Holland Michigan Wedding Venues

Wedding Venues in Holland Michigan

As a Southeast & Mid Michigan wedding photographer, I get the exciting opportunity to travel all around for work. One area of Michigan I work in frequently is actually on the opposite side of my home area of Port Huron- and that’s Holland Michigan. Holland is a beautiful area. Nestled on the shores of Lake Macatawa on Michigan’s west side, this small town boasts several coffee shops, places to shop, and venues to get married. It makes for the perfect little town to host your wedding- whether local to the area or traveling in.

As time goes on, I’ll add more venues to this list as I work there. At this time I am booking 2026 and 2027 weddings and have a couple weddings lined up at Baker Events. I’m always excited to go back to venues I’ve worked at and see how each couple transforms the space for their own celebration!

  • Website: pillarchurch.com/weddings
  • Capacity: 300+ guests
  • Cost: Non-Member Fee is $4,000

  • Catie’s Quick Tip: Ask your coordinator to ring the church bell after your ceremony- they will always say yes!

A great little spot for your ceremony celebration, Pillar Church is nestled right into the heart of downtown Holland. Pillar is a beautiful white church with manicured green lawns. This church is large enough to host ceremonies with 300+ guests. Pillar Church has spaces inside for wedding parties to get ready. Groomsmen at my 2025 wedding utilized one of the provided rooms to get ready.

One of my favorite photography spots for Pillar Church is right out front the main doors. We used this spot for wedding portraits and first looks. It’s actually a pretty private space with the pillars and main entrance off to the side. A fun little thing for couples to look forward to here is ringing the church bell after your ceremony! Moira and Parker had a blast ringing the bell, and I know it’s a memory they cherish.

My experience working at Pillar Church was great. I’ve worked alongside them as both a coordinator and photographer. Communication was simple and clear, and I walked away from meetings fully understanding the plan. Couples who marry here should be prepared to bring their own ordained pastor if not utilizing the one onsite.

  • Capacity: 300 guests
  • Cost: $3,500-$8,000

Baker Events is a wonderful venue located near downtown Holland, and actually not far from Pillar Church! I worked with a couple in 2025 that held their ceremony at Pillar and reception at Baker, so it is possible to use two venues for your day.

Baker Events has the ability to host both ceremonies and receptions inside their facilities. Couples can book both spaces for their day, or just one. Baker has getting ready spaces within their building for wedding parties to get ready. Filled with natural light and tons of mirrors, these spaces make for the perfect spot for a blissful morning with your closest people. We also loved using the loft space upstairs for bridal party portraits before all the guests arrived. I shot the featured photos of this venue on film!

While Baker isn’t necessarily an all-inclusive venue, I worked closely with Gilmore Catering for the Langellier wedding. They work at Baker Events often, and the food and communication was top notch. I go into a deep dive on cost, photo locations, and what it’s like working with Baker! I’m excited to go back later this year!

Warehouse6

Quick Venue Facts:

  • Address: 136 E 6th St, Holland, MI 49423
  • Website: warehouse6events.com/weddings
  • Capacity: 170 guests
  • Cost: Unknown
  • Style/Vibe: Modern, Industrial
  • Catie’s Quick Tip: This venue has the cutest little coffee/espresso bar- buy some cute personalized cups and instead of alcoholic specialty drinks, make coffee inspired ones!

Like the name suggests, this converted warehouse is now a wedding venue. Located right in the heart of downtown, this venue is in walking distance of hotels, bars, restaurants, and parking structures. This Holland Michigan wedding venue has ample opportunity for you to decorate as you wish. The space can easily be kept casual as is or dressed up with drapery and other decor.

Warehouse 6 has both indoor and outdoor spaces. A ceremony can easily be hosted outside on the patio, with a cocktail hour and reception inside the warehouse itself. The patio at this venue holds outdoor games, providing entertainment for your guests, and a little trailer that can be used as a food truck. I loved that my couple chose to use this to serve ice cream to their guests! There’s nothing better than ice cream on a hot summer day!

One of my favorite touches at this venue is the large garage door. It opens up directly onto the patio so your guests can move freely between the spaces, but it can also be closed for some privacy if needed. My couple chose to utilize the garage door for a grand entrance everyone could see!

If you’re looking to get married at any of these spaces, I’d love to work with you! Contact me today to save your date!
