Cherry Creek hosts weddings of all sizes throughout the year. With several rooms available for use, this venue can host large events up to 500 guests, or smaller celebration of 50 or less. Rooms at this wedding venue can be separated by thick, collapsible walls or opened up to enjoy full use of the space. While Cherry Creek’s peak wedding season is May-November, this venue hosts beautiful winter weddings as well.
The elegance of this venue lies in the guest experience. Driving down a tree lined driveway, this venue sits on a hill and overlooks the golf course. As your guests drive up, they will be greeted by valets who will happily park your car and direct them on where to go. The main lobby is adorned with artwork of the venue and golf course. Through a set of white double doors, your guests will walk through into the Conservatory and be awe-struck. The Conservatory features windows all around looking out onto the golf course. Surrounded on the outside with a large patio, your guests will be able to step outside to the bar and enjoy the warm sunshine during cocktail hour.
Cherry Creek golf course weddings also happen outdoors at this venue. Typically hosted on the lush green lawn, ceremonies are set up right outside the indoor reception area and overlook the pond. Staff is quick to turn spaces around between your ceremony and reception, ensuring a smooth transition from one event to the next. Oftentimes, cocktail hour is hosted on the outdoor patio.
This venue provides in house bartending and catering services. Bars at this venue are located both inside the main reception space and also outdoors on the patio for cocktail hour. Cherry Creek has the ability to do signature drinks for the couple, and I highly recommend doing this! Your guests will love ordering your favorite drinks in celebration of you. The catering at this Cherry Creek golf course wedding was amazing! This particular wedding that’s featured had a family style dinner- where you serve yourself at your own table. The food was so good, and there was so much! My favorite was the pasta entree and the veggies in the entree. With catering being in-house, Cherry Creek was also responsible for the desserts. They had a large buffet table with a chocolate fountain ready for guests to dig into immediately following dinner. They had everything from macarons to cookies to fruit to tiramisu. I heard many guests throughout the night gush about the food, dessert, and level of service from Cherry Creek!
Cherry Creek Golf Course Wedding Reception Space
Cherry Creek Golf Course can host 2 weddings on property at once. Both spaces are completely separate from one another with clear signage so guests don’t wander to the wrong space! As mentioned previously, this venue has the ability to divide spaces with collapsible walls. With some wedding venues I’ve been to, you can hear the other party happening on the other side of the wall. At Cherry Creek, I actually didn’t hear the other wedding taking place at all. The reception space I was in was quiet, save for our own celebrations, and well divided from the other wedding happening on property. Because of this, I would not be worried about Cherry Creek hosting another event at the same time as yours. My couple also elected to have their ceremony off property at their home church. They hosted a traditional Catholic Mass for their ceremony nearby, and Cherry Creek was happy to host just the reception.
The space I’ve worked in the most for Cherry Creek golf course weddings is the Conservatory. Surrounded by trees and a large outdoor patio, the Conservatory overlooks the pond and nearby golf course. There is ample space for guests to wander outdoors and enjoy the scenery throughout the evening!
The Conservatory can host receptions with up to 500 guests comfortably in all seasons. The inside space was wonderfully cool in the hot summer, but also had the option for guests to step outside if desired.
My Favorite Things About Cherry Creek Golf Course Wedding
Cherry Creek has an excellent guest experience and provides an elegant touch to your wedding day. I love working alongside the staff here at Cherry Creek. They work incredibly efficiently, and with catering and bartending in-house at this venue it’s truly all inclusive. I believe this makes for a more simplified planning process when a venue has a dedicated in-house catering team. You work with one vendor rather than four potential vendors, which can ease communication and costs.
There were several spots around this venue for us to take wedding portraits as well, and they aren’t far from the Conservatory! Portraits could easily be taken indoors or outdoors. There’s a small path near the patio space that provides a quiet, tree lined area for portraits. I was also pleasantly surprised at the lack of golf carts at this venue. Normally when I work at other golf course venues (like this Fernhill Wedding Day), there are golf players actively driving by. Cherry Creek is wonderfully peaceful and no players were driving by during the cocktail hour.

Cherry Creek golf course weddings has a large range of costs and is entirely dependent on your event. Smaller wedding receptions of 50 or less guests can count on a smaller cost closer to $3,000-$6,000. Larger wedding celebrations of 200+ guests should budget for $30,000-$50,000 for use of this venue.
It’s important for couples to remember that this venue provides a lot, and therefore will cost more than a venue that doesn’t have inclusions.
