Where do I begin? Catie is phenomenal, plain & simple.
From the first day we met, it felt as if I was speaking with my best friend (professionally of course). Over the months leading up to our wedding day, she was a shoulder to lean on when I was feeling overwhelmed, she offered ideas according to what I wanted and helped keep me on track. She even helped me with making my bridal bouquet! Our wedding day was chaotic but Catie was my sounding board when it came to keeping us on schedule and my family/friends loved her! Now onto her pictures, I love her style (light and airy) not overly color saturated and natural! Oh and she also does boudoir complete with a leather bound book! Location Expert: I've traveled all around Michigan, and even out of state for work. You're working with someone that scouts out all locations and is coming in with a plan no matter where we are.
Authentic: I've planned and photographed 70+ weddings, all unique to each couple. So you're working with someone well-experienced in capturing raw, authentic moments.
Intentional: I only work with 20 couples a year. This means you get my undivided attention and time. I often become friends with clients and stay in touch afterwards.
Experienced: While I've had this business for 3 years, I've been shooting on digital cameras for 15 years, and film for 2. I started my photography journey doing senior portraits while still in high school.

I protect your peace. You don't want an audience for your private vows or dress change? Great, consider me your personal security that ensures no one encroaches on your most private moments.
Every gallery is curated to showcase all of the moments throughout your wedding day- there's no moment too big or small. I hand-select images for your gallery and also edit everything myself. I do not use AI to curate your gallery.

While most of my work throughout the day is candid, structured portraits will be the ones you hang on the walls of your home. Getting in front of a camera can be intimidating (especially if it's your first time), so I gently guide you with suggestions that feel natural, ensuring you have fun in the moment and that your photos genuinely reflect your connection. No worrying about "but what about my hands".

Did you know it's standard in the photography industry to have clients obtain and pay for permits? I don't expect you to know when or if we need permits or location permission- that's my job! I include permit fees up to $300 in my package costs and will obtain permits for us when needed! I also do all location scouting prior to our time together.

4 years in and 70+ weddings under my belt, there hasn't been a family dynamic that I can't work with. How many weddings do you take in a year?
I enjoy working with all of my couples and focus on providing the best experience possible. At this time, I only take a maximum of 20 weddings a year so that I can provide exceptional service to all- which includes my quick turnaround times!
How do you ensure the safety of our photos?
My process is quite extensive, as is industry standard for events like these! Both cameras I have are dual SD slots (so I’m recording on both cards at once). I also make sure to change cards throughout the day. Once the wedding is over, I go straight home and save them to 2 external hard-drives plus a cloud service. I have never lost images using this process!
What happens if you become unable to work on our wedding day?
During my time as a photographer, I’ve never missed a wedding day due to illness. In the event this does happen, an engagement session would be rescheduled ahead of time without penalty. If I’m ill on a wedding day I would have an associate photographer cover your day. There is no way I’d leave you without coverage.
What are your travel fees?
If you are within the lower peninsula of Michigan, travel costs are already included in my package pricing. If outside of this area or out of state, the fees are determined on distance (driving vs airfare) & needed accommodations.
I am! If your venue needs a copy of my proof of insurance, just let me know and I am happy to send it over to them.
